Lupatech N.A.: We are
very encouraged by the great response we have received since
the March, 2003 opening of Lupatech N.A. We are the newest and
fastest growing supplier of flow control and precision castings
products to the North American industrial market.
Lupatech, a privately owned company located in Caxias do
Sul, Brazil, was established in 1980. The company consists
of four major manufacturing operations, which have become
well known suppliers in their markets for innovative, reliable
and cost saving products and solutions. Consistent success
and growth in South America has provided the opportunity for
opening Lupatech N.A. for its marketing, sales and service
center for the U.S., Canada and other global markets. Lupatech
N.A. is managed by Bob Andrews and Sohrab Omidbakhsh, who
have many years of experience in the industrial flow control
industry.
The business is divided into two segments: Industrial Valves
and Precision Castings.
Valmicro focuses on the manufacture of ball valves and sanitary
butterfly valves for a wide variety of pressures and temperatures
in material processing, storage and transportation applications.
The valves are offered with full automation and can be computer/PLC
ready when needed.
The Precision Castings operations consist of MICROINOX and
STEELINJECT. Certified by quality control agencies, such as
TUV, MICROINOX is a steel foundry, producing investment castings
to demanding industries that require precision-cast parts.
STEELINJECT is a manufacturer of castings which are made by
a plasma-assisted de-binding process. Customers in need of
metallic or ceramic components that are built within extreme
tolerances are satisfying their difficult applications with
parts manufactured with the STEELINJECT process. From both
MICROINOX and STEELINJECT, customers obtain very high quality
parts that are carefully made to their dimensional and other
requirements, often eliminating the costly machining of these
parts that would otherwise be required.
