AGRA ENGINEERING CO. (AECO) AGRA ENGINEERING CO. (AECO) was Established in the year 1953 under the entrepreneurship of Shri Mahesh Chandra Gupta for the sale of Diesel Engines and spare parts for Diesel Engines, Automobiles and Tractors.showing remarkable foresight, Mr.Gupta, went against the common practice prevailing then, of importing precision Engineering items viz. cylinder liners, piston, piston Rings, Air cooled Engine Blocks, Valves,Valve Guides, etc. These were liberally allowed to be imported under O.G.L Equipped with technical know-how and an innovative approach to business management, he hand-picked a few enthusiasts and encouraged and guide them to start their own industries for the manufacture of these precision products. This innovativeness and acumen resulted in the sale of indigenous products amidst stiff competition of world renowned brands. Having saturated the Indian market, AGRA ENGINEERING CO., entered the international field in 1975.

Precision products, as the name suggests, call for a high degree of accuracy in Engineering and Manufacturing, AECO has always been able to maintain very high standard of quality in exports and has acquired a formidable reputation worldwide.A testimony to it's high standards is the fact that spare parts exported are used in Automobiles (2 Wheelers, Passenger cars, Light commercial vehicles and Trucks) of the caliber of B.M.W., Mercedes Benz, Ford, Toyota, Datsun, Mitsubishi, Hino, Daihatsu, Honda, Volvo, Scania, Leyland, Perkins, Volkswagon, etc. The company's brand name "ARROW has created a niche for itself and is kept in the forefront through innovative marketing and advertising campaigns to suit different markets.

The company has been concentrating on very high precision products namely Engine parts, i.e. cylinder Liner, (Dry and Wet Type) Air cooled Ribbed cylinder Liners, Valves, Valve Guides, Crankshafts, Connecting Rods, Engine Bearings, Camshafts, Cam Followers, etc.

After the retirement of Shri Mahesh Chandra Gupta from active business, since 1980 onwards, the company is being headed by the eldest son Shri Rajesh M. Gupta. While the Gupta Family still plays a major role in the Management of the company, AECO prefers to see itself as a professional concern and those attitude is manifest right through the working of the company. Apart from it's own manufacturing group, the company imparts technical and other help to the supporting manufacturers in the close scrutiny it maintains over product inputs and stringent measures for on line quality control. A team of highly motivated Executives are constantly monitoring markets, both-existing and new.

Such professionalism has resulted in a worldwide network covering 78 countries in all the 5 continents. The company has received various awards, viz-a-viz :
